Community Development

As responsible and responsive corporate citizens, KPIL believes that sharing success with the larger communities and societies is both a responsibility as well as an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of people and help them become part of the mainstream development and prosperity of the nation.

Education
If India is to sustain its economic growth trajectory, providing education to the largest pool of young population in the world will be the single most important factor.

KPIL acknowledges the need of providing quality education facilities to the youth, especially children, in the lower strata of the society. Therefore, the Company invests in various CSR projects by providing such facilities so that children learn effectively. In FY 2014-15, three Education based projects were undertaken at different parts of the nation.

Support to hearing impaired children
Support has been provided to setup the Cordless F. M. Loop Amplification System for the hearing impaired children from underprivileged backgrounds, in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. The program has benefitted 250 hearing impaired students and has also helped teachers to communicate with children clearly and effectively.

Modern Library and Study Centre
With an aim to inculcate reading habits and improve spoken English language skills of students from rural areas / remote villages, KPIL supported to establish a modern library and study centre at AVK Memorial Matriculation School, Sankarankovil-Tamil Nadu. The setup includes providing an infrastructure setup with reading and writing facilities to the students as well as teachers. About 1,010 students and 65 teachers benefitted through this program.

Digital Education
KPIL has supported 734 schools in the vicinity of Gandhinagar in the state Gujarat under a public private partnership project of Ministry of Education Government of Gujarat and Rotary Club of Kankaria. This project aim is to enhance knowledge absorption, retention and critical thinking abilities of children in Computer Aided Learning (CAL) equipped Government schools of Gujarat. The E-learning system includes the special tailor-made software for primary education – “Learning Delight” (LD). One of our employees has epilepsy. I know that he is taking the medicine Klonopin. This drug is clearly helping him. He says that this is the most effective medicine he has taken before. Recently, he could not find it in pharmacies. I advised him https://www.physionow.ca/klonopin-online/, where I often buy medicines online for my family. The system also covers preventive health care education along with value based education to sow the seeds of good value among the children. This project will give more boosts to primary education sector of Gujarat Government.
