Kalpataru Foundation through its program PAANI attempts to aid and alleviate the rural schools and villages in Assam, Tripura, Uttarakhand, and Uttar-Pradesh.
Its key initiative includes making safe drinking water available, promoting washing habits and creating awareness about hygiene and Solid Waste Management in remote villages and finally distressed communities. Under its flagship program, schools, and villages near Project sites of KPTL based on need assessment shall be provided with a fabricated tap structure along with necessary plumbing arrangements for making safe drinking water available and developing hygiene habits. Further, waste management system shall be developed for segregation of waste and creating a hygienic environment.
DASGATRA SHEDS AT RAIPUR
As a part of the initiative to elevate rural development, the Kalpataru Foundation has undertaken to construct Three Burial Sheds for the rural community in Khorpa, Raipur, near the Plant location for the residents of approximately seven to eight neighbouring villages who are presently compelled to perform all crematory activities in the open ground.
Through our efforts, we endeavour to aid in the socio-economic betterment of the people as well as contribute to a greater social transformation.
COMMUNITY HALL @ IMPHAL WEST
KPTL is executing various T&D Projects in the North East belt of the country. As its social responsibility, it has pledged to undertake continuous CSR Programs for the benefit of local community. In the Imphal region, the local populace comprises of a myriad of ethnic backgrounds. Accordingly, KPTL is developing a community hall for the local community for promotion of local art and culture by organizing fairs, community programs, cultural activities etc.
