- Metro railways
- Private railway sidings
Taljhari – Maharajpur (West Bengal)
The project for construction/railway doubling up to formation involving earth work in cutting and filling on railway embankment, supplying and spreading blanketing
materials over formation, construction of RCC box, bridges, retaining walls and other ancillary works excluding lP-Way (inking) , S&T and OHE in the state of Jharkhand
for Eastern Railway.
Major challenge for project execution was its site location as it’s in remote tribal areas of Jharkhand, created constraints on mobilization of resources and execution. Another major challenge was the parallel flow of the river Ganga to the railways line with its back waters making it difficult to construct bridges.
Tata Steel plant – Kalinganagar (Odisha) (Ongoing Project)
This project involves design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of railway electrification work of existing/proposed railway tracks, switching post (SSP),
TSS including modification of existing 25 kV AC, 50 Hz single phase Overhead Equipment (OHE) at Tata Steel Plant, Kalinganagar, Odisha.
As the site location has hilly terrains and undulated alignment, the Polygonal Over Head Equipment at 25 kV AC 50 Hz systems has been designed for maximum wind pressure of 178 kg/sqm.
Tamluk-Basulya (West Bengal) – RVNL
Project scope involves construction of road bed, bridges, track linking, Signaling & Telecommunication, Overhead Electrification (OHE) & general electrical work in the state of West Bengal for Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL). This project involves construction of second line beside the running railway line without effecting normal train operations and includes construction of modifications to existing five station yards, passenger amenities like platforms, passenger shed and foot-over-bridges (FOBs). There are four major bridges which require pile foundation as well as super structure where 18 m long steel girder are provided.
Ahmedabad-Palanpur (Gujarat) - CORE (Ongoing Project)
An Overhead Electrification (OHE) project for Central Organization for Railway Electrification (CORE). The Project scope involves design, supply, erection,
testing & commissioning of 25 kV, 50 Hz, single phase, AC electrification works including Traction sub-station (TSS) in the state of Gujarat.
The project’s high-rise OHE work is unique in current railway electrification projects and planned for upcoming DFCC (Dedicate Freight Corridor Corporation of India) projects in India. The high rise OHE is being proposed for transportation of double stack container to transport more goods and better utilization of infrastructure.
